Our Story
Founded in 1995, Gemma Property Services set out to deliver reliable, high-quality property care. We started with two contracts from the National Capital Commission and, over the years, expanded our services to meet growing demand. In 2020, daughter and son Lindsay and Jared Hamilton took the helm, building on their parents’ legacy—Bill and Sue Hamilton—while scaling the business. Today, we proudly maintain some of Ottawa’s most historic sites.

Environmental Initiatives
We’re dedicated to sustainability, using electric vehicles and tools, and operating from a fully off-the-grid property. In line with the National Capital Commission’s environmental goals, we’re working toward having 80% of our fleet electric by 2030. These efforts reflect our commitment to making a positive environmental impact while upholding the high standards of service our clients expect.
